Calling all tech enthusiasts and civic-minded makers in #NYC!

Join the Open Sprints Civic Tech Hackathon hosted by Femmecubator. We’re partnering with mentors from Data + Women to support teams in ideating on the maps, and the winning team gets to win $500 to continue the work for 2 more weeks. Your work will be used to build this prototype.

We're organizing our 2nd annual Open Sprints: Civic Tech Camp, a hackathon event sponsored by the Tides Foundation and Perforce Software. This program creates a supportive space where aspiring tech professionals can develop their skills on meaningful civic projects that address real community needs.

This year’s challenge is all about Data Visualization with Open Data NYC—an incredible chance to build open-source solutions alongside civic organizations, learn new skills, and contribute to projects with lasting community value.

• Format: Networking, collaborative workshops and team project development, Hackathon kickoff is in-person
