Welcome 2025 Civic Techies!

This program creates a supportive space where aspiring tech professionals can develop their skills on meaningful civic projects that address real community needs.

Civic Tech Fellows: Get free admission hackathon ticket, team merch, prizes, and pizza on us!

• A Tech Gathering for Social Good. Flex your skills, network with peers, work on open source projects (dataviz, chatbot, research, design and code)
• Convene with the community. In collaboration with mentors from Data + Women and Superbloom, we’re setting up infrastructure to ideate on a prototype to impact citywide change via Equitable Mapping sprint activities
• Join a coalition of allies. From university students, grassroots teachers, tech workers, to mentors from NY tech orgs, we're forming a collective of mission-aligned groups dedicated to impactful initiatives to make Public Interest Tech accesible to everyone.
